12-Point SignWorks and NewGround are back together once again! Think of this as if Lebron James and Dwayne Wade were back together. 😬 That may be a stretch in comparison, but it’s just as exciting for us! 😂 Let’s take a look at how we helped NewGround fabricate and install beautiful and modern experiential graphics for Lamar National Bank in Celina, TX.
If you have been a loyal 12-Point subscriber since 2018, then this is not your first introduction to our partnership with NewGround. For those who are new to our blog articles, NewGround is a St.Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and build firm.
Last year, NewGround took on the task of serving as the architect and project manager for Lamar National Bank’s new location in Celina, TX. While construction was underway, they contacted us to collaborate on adding the personal touches to the bank’s interior.
Our team worked with NewGround’s designers to create the production files and to fabricate dimensional and branding graphics for three wall panels and privacy vinyl for the office windows.
The branded environmental graphics – located in the hospitality, community, and transaction areas- followed the same color pattern and custom layout. However, only two included dimensional graphics.
The hospitality wall consisted of four layers:
- A 19″ x 42″ photo of a water tower in Celina, TX back printed using clear acrylic.
- One 20″ x 20″ diagonal fabricated metal and one 18″ x 31″ dotted fabricated metal painted moth gray with a satin finish.
- A 20″ x 18″ photo of Downtown Celina and a 16″ x 24″ photo of Celina High School’s football team back printed using clear acrylic.
- A 3/8″ acrylic graphic painted light blue with an outline of Texas and the name of the city. This layer also included a red vinyl applique star applied on top of the Texas outline.
The hospitality wall also included three captions (white, vinyl lettering) that describe the significance of the three photos.
Although both walls of the transaction and community area share the same background design, the transaction wall is the main attraction with its striking, dimensional features.
NewGround designed the teller transaction wall to really pop in a big way with the bank’s motto (hey, this is in Texas, after all!). The wall’s design called for 1” and 2” thick dimensional elements on top of the textured wallcovering. The taupe-colored star and stripes formed the 1” thick layer, and the three lines of text in taupe, light blue and white paint colors were made to be 2” deep.
To complete the workplace branding, our production team installed privacy vinyl on the exterior of the windows of each office and the conference room. NewGround designed the decorative elements of the privacy vinyl to continue the star and stripe logo theme used in the custom wallcoverings.
Our team had a great time working with NewGround once again on another environmental branding project, and we appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with their team. We can’t wait for the next one!
We pride ourselves on being a creative, problem-solving “go-to” resource for NewGround and our other clients. In addition to offering services for the fabrication and installation of custom interior branding graphics, we also offer architectural displays, custom “non-standard” projects, and vehicle advertising wraps.
