Project Manager

Job Description

Being a key member of the leadership team, the Project Manager (PM) manages multiple projects from start to finish. The projects will  vary in scope, scale and execution and will require cross-functional integration of the many varied products and services offered by  12-Point SignWorks. You will facilitate communication and serve as the key link between clients, their sales reps and 12-Point’s Design and Fabrication/Installation teams. Working with 12-Point’s team leads, you will align the appropriate resources for each project, proactively assess projects to identify obstacles, as well as brainstorm and implement appropriate solutions. A fundamental knowledge of 12-Point’s products and services will be a requirement for success in this position. Primary Responsibilities

• Project Manager (PM) will work in a team environment with sales, designers, fabricators, installers, vendors, and other subject matter experts. • PM will work with sales to help quote client projects with input from the Design, Fabrication and Installation teams. In all interactions with prospects, clients, co-workers, vendors and subcontractors, it is expected that you will consistently demonstrate a dedication to “Integrity, Accountability, and Respect.” (12-Point Core Values).
• For assigned projects, PM will ensure feedback is routed and clearly communicated between teams and is responsible for making sure the teams are clear on their respective assignments, deliverables and priorities.
•PM will be required to assume both positive leadership and facilitator roles to manage all aspects of assigned projects, taking necessary action when obstacles arise, thinking proactively about client solutions and staying one step ahead of the client.
• PM will be required to facilitate overall project scope through its duration from initial scope through final delivery and acceptance, keeping track of timelines and budgets, and interacting with 12-Point’s Administrative team for final project close-out and invoicing.
• PM will provide both 12-Point and client team members with frequent and as-needed updates on project(s) schedules and status, and will share program information in a consistent, organized manner that best communicates to both internal/external resources.
• PM will provide project-specific team leadership and positive team interaction with the ultimate goal of delivering a profitable exceptional branding experience for each project or larger scale program.
• PM must display the desire to work within a team environment as well as have the independent skill set to work through tasks with minimal supervision.
• PM must manage external resources (vendors and subcontractors) with professionalism including communication of timelines and expectations of finish quality
• The PM will become the point person for some clients and the ensuing development of further opportunities.
• PM proactively contributes beyond basic job requirements and performs all other related work, as assigned or as apparent.

Educational Prerequisites

• Bachelor degree and 3+ years’ project management experience
• Knowledge of the signage or construction industry a plus
