Now that you’ve decided to purchase a commercial vehicle wrap to display your brand (smart choice!), it’s time to start thinking about the design. We’ve been designing and installing vinyl wraps for years, so we’ve learned a thing or two about what should be included to get the most bang for your buck.
A commercial vehicle wrap will most often be viewed for only a few seconds at a time. So it’s important to display only the pertinent information for your business. Here’s a list of the items we believe should be included on every long-term use advertising wrap:
- Logo or brand name
- Brand colors
- Slogan (only if it’s short and to the point)
- List of services (keep this short, too!)
- Contact information
When combined with bold graphics and a unique design, the items listed above are all a potential customer needs to contact your business. Want to see some great examples? Check these out!
Blake Shelton Landscaping (Nope….not the singer! 😉 )
We see this van driving around frequently and are always proud of the design. It has everything a great wrap should, including Blake’s logo, short list of services, website, phone number, and graphics that clearly identify his company as a landscaping business. Check out the guitar hidden in the grass. Clever!
Structural Engineering & Inspections (SE&I)
This striking design works great at construction sites, as well as on the road. The logo is bold and the services clearly state this company’s target audience. People who are interested in learning more can view a list of services on the back side windows. The contact information is also easy to see, and the background graphics make it all pop!
Action Air Conditioning Services, Inc.
This “cool” design is an upgrade from Action Air Conditioning’s original fleet wrap. It’s the perfect design to attract new customers as the vans sit in front of homes and businesses. The logo is large and bold, and this vehicle wrap design also includes the company’s phone number, website, and short list of services.
Because wrap design is so important, it’s a good idea to spend a little extra time on the front end thinking about the design. For more information, read this article: A Guide to Understanding our Vehicle Wrap Design Process.
