It’s not every day we tackle a project so big it needs two features! Thanks to a great partnership built on creativity and teamwork, we brought this phenomenal project to life. This remediation project was contracted through an architectural company in Maryland, Floura Teeter, for Gude Landfill in Rockville, MD. It was a massive undertaking that covered everything from custom metal signage to educational posts. Bet you didn’t know we did more than just signage here at 12-Point! Large Informational Signs
These large informational panel signs welcome visitors with a bold presence, presenting key project details in a clear, engaging format. Constructed with Western Red Cedar Timber and Corten steel, they act as primary touchpoints for the Gude Landfill Remediation site.
Educational Posts
Scattered throughout the recreational area, the 18” x 36” Corten steel educational posts transform the site into an outdoor learning environment. These posts invite visitors to pause and learn about the nature that surrounds them.
Directional Signs
The Western Red Cedar Timber and Corten steel directional signs guide drivers and pedestrians along designated paths throughout the property. Their clear messaging helps reduce confusion, improve safety, and create a more intuitive site experience.
Trail Markers
These trail markers define pathways and highlight notable points throughout the recreational area. They support wayfinding and reinforce the organized flow of movement through restored or protected areas.
Small Informational Signs
Manufactured out of 24” x 48” Corten Steel and affixed to 8” x 8” x 98” Western Red Cedar Timber posts, these informational signs deliver quick, targeted details where visitors need them most. They provide brief explanations or warnings to enhance understanding without overwhelming the surrounding landscape.
The warning signs play an essential role in keeping visitors and their pets safe while enjoying the park. They help guide everyone around restricted or sensitive areas and promote responsible use of the space. Paying attention to these signs helps ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
