Collaboration is necessary in the sign industry. When we work together, we create better signs that meet the needs of businesses and communities. Sometimes, it makes more sense money-wise to bring the locals in than to fly everyone to the install site. Sharing expertise and ideas helps projects run smoothly, results in higher quality work, and helps solve problems like tricky installations and tight deadlines. Plus, it supports local businesses – a big part of who we are here at 12-Point SignWorks. For this Project of the Week, we handled the install of branded signage for a Dirty Dough franchise in Franklin, TN for Utah-based Silicon Signs. It was pretty difficult getting anything done with those amazing smells everywhere! Dirty Dough features some combination of layers, mix-ins, or filling for some of the most delicious cookies you’ll ever eat.
Cohesive Branded Signage for a Cookie Franchise
Our team installed a few different kinds of signs for the franchise, carrying their branding from the front door to the ordering counter. The highlight of the install is the 60″w x 57.28″h halo lit logo sign, sure to stand out once the sun goes down. The team also installed a wall mural, two more logo signs, and door graphics. ![]()
The front door decals included their logo, hours, and a QR code that customers can scan to download their loyalty app. Integrating QR codes into storefront signs transforms a static display into an interactive experience, bridging the physical and digital worlds. While theirs leads to a loyalty app, there are so many other ways you can use QR codes in signage to boost your business:
- Promote Events and Offers: Link to event registrations, distribute digital tickets, and offer instant discounts or coupons. As an example, new businesses often include QR codes on grand opening signs to share exclusive offers and encourage attendance.
- Encourage Social Media Interaction: Link to social media profiles to make it easier for customers to follow your business, leave reviews, or participate in online campaigns.
- Provide Product Information: QR codes placed near products or on storefronts can give customers immediate access to detailed product specs, reviews, and demonstration videos, enhancing the decision-making process.
- Streamline Customer Service: Link to self-service support, such as FAQs or troubleshooting guides, and reduce the need for staff intervention while improving customer satisfaction.
