In the fast-paced world we live in today, it’s hard to find time to focus on physical fitness. Sometimes we need encouragement to get started, and we need it even more just to stay the course. In an effort to provide a little workout motivation to its members, the Brentwood Country Club contacted us to create wall graphics for its workout facility. The inspiring quotes bring new energy to the otherwise plain wall space!

We started this project by visiting the club to see the exercise facility. As you can see, the plain walls needed a little help! We worked with the country club’s membership director to determine the best walls to apply the graphics. We also measured the available wall space in those areas.

The walls in the Brentwood Country Club’s workout facility were plain and undecorated. Oh the possibilities! :-)

The director provided us a list of popular motivational quotes and preferred layout formats related to exercise and personal fitness. Our designer modified the quotes using different fonts, layouts, and icons to help the quotes appeal to members. He provided a proof of his custom artwork to the director for approval.

Our graphic designer recreated a variety of motivational quotes using an energetic, bold look. Here’s the artwork proof. You feel inspired to exercise now, right?

After we received the director’s enthusiastic “thumbs up” for the artwork, we digitally printed the custom wall graphics on high-quality, high-tack adhesive vinyl to help ensure the graphics will remain in place without peeling prematurely for years to come. The vinyl material was also protected with a UV semi-gloss laminate to prevent the colors from fading over time. We contour cut all of the lettering and graphics (with the exception of the signs that have a black background). Our talented installers then applied the graphics on various walls throughout the workout facility. As you can see, the new wall graphics definitely energized the space!

We used mostly uppercase lettering to inspire members to work out and also push through when they may feel like stopping. Notice how some words are bold to add emphasis. We love how the different font combinations also bring a liveliness to the quotes!
