Custom Branded Signage for the Home of Studio Tenn
Custom Truck Wrap for the Tennessee Wildlife Federation
What started as a vision in 1991 for a 19-year-old camp counselor at Camp Mac outside of Birmingham, AL has since become the Barefoot Republic Camp and Retreat Center. The main office and community center are in Nashville, TN, and the camp and retreat center campus is in Fountain Run, KY. The founder of Barefoot Republic dreamed of providing opportunities for less fortunate youth through artistic, athletic, and team-building programs. Overnight camps are at the KY campus, and day camps are at various churches in Nashville or the Community Center. In addition to day camps, the Community Center provides art and athletic programs, an open play gym, an indoor track, and fitness classes. They recently contacted us about updating the exterior signage for their community center.
Compassion and cooperation are part of the 12 core values that shape and define the mission behind 12-Point SignWorks. As such, we were immediately drawn to the vision and values that drive the Barefoot Republic. Our team removed the existing welcome letters before installing new 3/8” thick white couture-cut acrylic letters over the entrance. We then installed new logo signage at the top of the community center and replacement graphics for their roadside sign.
Barefoot believes socio-economic diversity is just as important as racial diversity, and they want to bring campers together. Instead of doing one week for low-income campers, they intentionally recruit 50% full-paying campers & 50% on scholarship. They feel it’s important for kids from different backgrounds to meet and understand that although we’re uniquely different, we can live together in unity. Check them out if you feel compelled to donate or want to join in on the camping fun. They have camps for the whole family!
